And, believe it or not, the city has its own wildlife attractions, with a fabulous national park on its doorstep and several reserves dedicated to the wellbeing of elephants, giraffes, rhinos and more.  

Tanzania - Zanzibar

Step off the boat or plane onto the Zanzibar Archipelago and you’re transported through time and place. This is one of the world's great cultural crossroads, where Africa meets Arabia meets the Indian Ocean. 

In Zanzibar Town, the narrow alleys of historic Stone Town meander between ancient buildings decorated with balconies and gigantic carved doors. Meanwhile, on the coast, fishing boats set sail, and in the countryside farmers tend fields of rice or the clove plantations that give Zanzibar its 'Spice Islands' moniker.

Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Nairobi Airport, you will be provided a meet and assist service and avoid the long queues at security and Immigration Control saving your precious time. You shall then be transferred to the hotel. This day is set aside to relax at the hotel and get over jetlag that might have come with the long flight.

Pick up from the hotel at 8:30am for our Nairobi Excursion. We shall pop into the GIRAFFE CENTRE near the famous Giraffe Manor where these long-necked beauties eat out of your hands. Between 11:00AM and 12:00PM visit the DAVID SHELDRICK WILDLIFE TRUST that offers close-up encounters with elephant orphans. Break for sumptuous lunch and in the afternoon tour KIBERA; the biggest slum of East-Africa and one of the friendliest slums

in the world. Our guide, born and living in Kibera, will show you the daily life in their ‘city of hope’. See the ways the people of Kibera improve their lives. Become inspired by their resilience and friendliness.

Pick up from the Hotel at 7am and embark on your journey to Masai Mara, which is a drive of 5 hours. We will arrive at the Camp with enough time to settle in before lunch with a little time to relax before we head out for our afternoon game drive between 1600 hrs to 1830hrs. We explore one of Kenya's most popular wildlife destinations.

Rise early for breakfast. As the cool, fresh air fills your lungs you will feel invigorated and rejuvenated, ready for great morning and afternoon game drives. Stand up through the customized pop up roof hatch and enjoy this unhindered 360 views, and the possibilities for what lies ahead. Masai Mara Game Reserve is known for providing excellent predator sightings in their natural habitats thanks to its relatively large populations of lion, cheetah, and leopard. We will also see lots of Elephants, Masai giraffe, common zebra, impala, Thompson’s and Grant’s gazelles, Topi, Hartebeest, Black-backed jackal, spotted hyena and more.

Early morning pre-breakfast game drive to track the wildcats as they hunt and kill very early in the morning. At 8:30am back to the camp for full breakfast. Checkout from the camp for a visit to a Masai cultural village.

We shall proceed for a drive back to the buzzing Kenya’s capital, Nairobi with lunch enroute. Arrive back to Nairobi around 5pm.

Pick up from the hotel for airport transfer. Drop off at Nairobi Airport in good time for your flight to Tanzania.

Today is your day to relax on the beach, take the boat out and experience some of the most amazing waters. Or just relax at the resort and enjoy some of the many amenities such as the pool or spa etc.

This is 2nd free day to explore Zanzibar at your leisure. Or take advantage of some of the optional tours available.
