Below is your complete packing reference for sea excursions, shore landings, shipboard comfort, and essential travel gear.

🚢 BY SEA

(Zodiac Transfers, Cruising & Landings)

All transfers between ship and shore are completed via Zodiac boats, so proper waterproof and thermal gear is mandatory.

Required & Recommended Layers

• Waterproof pants (mandatory for every Zodiac ride)

• Base-layer wool or synthetic top *

• Base-layer wool or synthetic bottom *

• Mid-layer warm or fleece top *

• Mid-layer warm or fleece bottom *

• Warm wool or synthetic socks

  • Keep a dry spare pair in your bag

  • Bring extras for layering

Cold-Weather Protection

• Glove liners *

• Hand & feet warmers *

• Collapsible walking sticks (optional; limited quantities available onboard)

Your expedition ship is comfortable and casual, with no formal dress code required.

• Complimentary Quark 3-in-1 Parka

  • Waterproof outer shell for deck & landings

  • Removable inner liner for indoor warmth

Recommended Clothing

• Comfortable casual wear

  • Light shirts, pants, jeans

• Non-slip, closed-toe, heelless shoes

  • (Flip-flops and sandals are not permitted for safety.)

• Workout attire for the fitness center

• Swimsuit

  • For the legendary Polar Plunge

  • Some ships may also include pool, hot tub, sauna, or steam room

Optional:
You may bring dressier attire for the Captain’s welcome & farewell cocktails, though it is not required.
